Coral & Turquosie

The Southwestern United States is a significant source of Turquoise. Nevada produces more Turquoise than any other state in the southwest by far. The Spanish Conquistadors brought Coral which was used as a good to trade. Native Americans referred to Coral as red gold.

In the Native American culture, Turquoise is traditionally worn to bring luck. Coral is thought to be able to bring the wearer long life and longevity. The Native Americans also believed that when used in combination, therefore, Coral and Turquoise represents Balance In Life.
